En Route from Doha to Riyadh
On the 12th of March, Elijah embarked on his journey from Doha to Riyadh, marking the final stop of his Middle East business trip. Here Elijah is boarding the plane at Doha to King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh. He was able to get ample rest on his flight as he had a spacious seat with enough leg room for him to have a pleasant sleep. Cheers to Saudi Airlines!
Arriving at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Upon arrival at KKIA, Elijah was greeted by a row of palm trees, which is a fairly common sight in Riyadh. It shows some parallels with Singapore’s garden city, whereby travellers are also equally welcomed by streets of luscious green trees the moment they step out of Singapore Changi Airport!
Meeting with Dealer 1: Khaleelur, Prime Star Technologies
The day after Elijah’s touchdown in Riyadh was solely dedicated to meetings with dealers. He first made a journey down to Prime Star Technologies’ office, where he met Mr Khaleelur Rahaman, who was extremely kindhearted and offered Elijah unmatched hospitality. They discussed potential collaborations and focused on leveraging their mutual strengths to foster innovative technological solutions. This discussion opened up avenues for possible joint ventures, enhancing the prospects for future projects and partnerships.
Meeting with Dealer 2: Mohammed Riyaz, Al Jubran
After his first meeting, Elijah headed to Al Jubran, where he met another dealer, Mr Mohammed Riyaz. They discussed potential collaborations between their companies and focused on how Aid’s innovative building materials from could complement Al Jubran’s projects, exploring ways to integrate their products for mutual benefit. This conversation opened up possibilities for future partnerships and joint ventures. All in all, both meetings were highly productive and opened up potential for substantial partnerships in the Saudi market.
Experiencing Ramadan in Riyadh
Since Elijah visited Saudia Arabia during the month of Ramadan, he was able to get a glimpse of what it is like during this festive season. This Iftar feast was prepared at Crown Madareem hotel after breaking fast! It was definitely a spread that was worth waiting the entire day for.
Final Sentiments about Riyadh
After a hearty dinner the previous night, it was finally time for Elijah to fly back to Singapore. This month-long trip has been really meaningful for Elijah as he gained many new experiences and valuable insights. From strolling the streets of each city and taking in their magnificent sights to holding productive business meetings with several dealers, each city has provided Elijah with countless irreplaceable memories. His journey to the Middle East will always hold a significance and it is a trip he will never forget. Ma’a as-salama!
